Asus G73jh-A1 vs Sager NP8120

Looking for a desktop replacement for gaming

Budget $1000-$2000

Games: Starcraft II, Team Fortress 2, L4D2, MW Black Ops.

I built a gaming desktop a little while back, i7 920, gtx 295 etc etc, so I know a little about the hardware I am just completely lost on laptops.

I was wondering what a good brand would be, I had a Sager before and it worked fine for awhile but the mobo did end up dying, granted it spent a year in Afghanistan (my new one will be spending a year in Afghanistan starting Feb also) I have also heard good things about Asus.

I was looking at this sager model and this asus model

Is this overkill for the games I play?
Is sager/asus a reliable brand?
With a high end gaming laptop how much of a concern is overheating?
If it is a great concern what cooler should I get?
Also can anyone suggest a good reseller?? Xoticpc has both the Asus and the Sager, anyone good anything good or bad for Xoticpc???

On my current desktop I play at 1920x1200 at full settings and I would like to keep it about the same for the laptop.
