MacBook-quality design + multimedia performance + high portability (too much to ask?)

Thanks for your help! The closest thing I've found so far has been the Envy14.
Still sad I missed the $400 off deal back when they had the Radiance Screens.

Up to $1500, but have the time to wait for deals also for more expensive ones.

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
No strong preference, as long as quality/warrenty is good.

5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed?
No

6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Office / Web Browsing / Watching movies / Light gaming (SC2)

7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
Lots of travel to cafes, between classes, on planes, etc.

8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?
Light gaming, probably something like Starcraft 2.

9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
4 hours minimum for web browsing/Office

10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
Its OK, but I live close to a Best Buy also.

11) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7), Mac OS, Linux, etc.Windows 7

YES! Very much so.

Notebook Components

17) How much hard drive space do you need; 80GB to 640GB? Do you want a SSD drive?
At least 320GB.
SSD optional.

18) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?
At least DVD drive, ideally Blue-Ray drive.
(read only for both is fine - want to watch movies)
