I'd like to be able to play newer games such as Fallout New Vegas or Call of Duty: Black Ops on high settings with no lag.

I have no problem being tethered to wall sockets.
Just enough so it won't instantly die should it become unplugged on accident.

Miscellaneous
I'd love for it to have a backlit keyboard, as well as extra bits like an HDMI outlet, multiple USB ports and an SD card slot/capability.
Is there a machine like that available at that price? That's what I'd love to know.
