Configuring 4.0 speakers on M570TU

It seems that only the green jack on the front panel is willing to output sound.
If I plug a speaker into either the Blue or Pink connector, then select "front", "mid" or "back speakers" in the autoconfigure panel, I get an error message saying "This device type is not supported!" This doesnt happen with the green jack.

Also if I leave the cable in after I got the error message, the Realtek window looks like this:



I have no idea what those red arrows mean.
I've never seen it before.

Anyone knows how to make the blue/pink jack output sound successfully?
