A few questions about the TPM chip

I have a few questions about the TPM chip...



1) If I don't have Client Security Solutions installed do applications still use it?



2) What applications actually use the TPM chip?



3) If I use the TPM chip does that mean that the passwords for lets say IE9 are no longer stored in settings, but on the chip only?

1) Yes

2) BitLocker, DirectAccess

3) No
