Hey nbr so ive settled a deal with the person selling old refurbished laptops. However I am in a dilema as he has given me 2 options.



The first setup will be $100NZ more which is roughly 80US. So what do u guys think is worth getting?

Dell Studio 1735 laptop backlit keyboard won't light

I have a new Dell Studio 1735 with the backlit keyboard feature, but it doesn't work. Three different people at Dell have sent three extremely different fixes, one even involving "remove the latex skin from keyboard and to check the . . . " I have checked the Quickset setting for the keyboard, and it is activated and the light setting is set for bright. But, the key combo to turn it on and toggle through the light settings does nothing. I surely would appreciate a clear, step-by-step guide to doing what's necessary to activate the feature. If I need to reinstall the Quickset utility, I'd like to be guided through that, too, in basic, simple English, not technospeak! Thanks.

CF28M P3 600E Posts, but hangs when installing any Windows variant

I just received a toughbook CF28mbfabem notebook from ebay today. Came with a windows 98SE COA. 20 GB hd, 384mb, Ex RIM owned machine. On ebay they showed it with a fresh windows XP install. I received it with a wiped hard drive... So far I can only get it to work with a boot disk. I've done a win95 install all the way through to win xp sp3... it installs to the point of the first reboot after copying the various files to the hard drive. After that, it just sits. I've swapped the drive with 3 other known good drives, same thing. If I remove the hard drive, the computer boots up then says can't find operating system. I can get it to boot up off of a floppy or cd boot disk to msdos, but that is it. Do I specifically need the OEM recovery discs? Or is there something else I'm missing.

HELP my Samsung PN63C8000 keeps resetting picture mode

My samsung pn63c8000 keeps reverting to 'dynamic' picture mode after I have gone into the menu and changed to another mode and made adjustments. It has even done this while watching the same channel after a period of 15~20min it just switches back into dynamic mode.

How do I keep it from doing this and have the picture settings that I have chosen stay on all channels.

Also do I need to make the picture adjustments for each input individually?
